And the WOLF pack is formed

Tonight was the first den meeting of the Wolf Cubs.  Blake graduated from a Tiger Cub to a Wolf Cub last year and was super excited to start back in with scouting!

Blake is ready for the meeting, in uniform!
The meeting started out with some "pie tin" washers.  The kids had a blast, throwing & losing the washers!

Blake's buddy, Kanin joined this year...so happy :)
The crazy wolf cubs!!!

This is gonna be a great year of scouting, we are planning to attend more of the camping and outdoor events this year! Last year we had two sports and dance all going on at the same time and I am not over crowding schedules this year...I hope!

Living it Up on Labor Day

Billy and Aunt Sissy got the day off so, we decided to hang out around the house to do some grilling, and play outside...the weather was beautiful!!  Billy smoked his traditional BBQ ribs with homemade baked beans.  Diana and I decided to grill pizzas.  I saw it on April's Food Blog and have thought about it ever since, so what a perfect day to do it!!?!

We started out preparing veggies and garlic to roast for the pizzas.

Cut the top off, drizzle w/ evoo and sea salt, wrap in foil and
roast for 20 mins... delicious

These were all so yummy, we could have just made a meal of them!

Taylor "helped" paint the dough with olive oil...and poke holes in it!

Billy's ribs

The kids got to choose 3 cheeses

our veggie pizza...mmmmm....
BEST pizza he's ever had...he asked for it every night!!!

Ribs make him smile  :)
They played basketball

Aunt Sissy played "red light green light" with em!

Serious first time red lighter!

We played baseball..he's a good hitter

Another serious player!

Even Sophie got to play her favorite tug a war game!!
I have to say...this was one of the BEST days ever!  The weather was perfect, we were all together, munchin on some of the best food we've ever made,  just having fun, making lots of memories!
