Life in the month of January...

The month of January flew by like all the rest. Been busy catching up after the holiday on eBay. Billy is still searching for the right employment opportunity. Blake is signing up for his high school curriculum and has brought his advanced math grade up on his own! Tay is starting volleyball again and enjoying a new friendship with a student from South Korea, named Dorothy. Taylor has settle into 4th grade and is having fun learning the States and Capitals too! The kids and I have been binge watching Stranger Things together on Wednesday nights, when Dad goes to music night. Billy has been writing songs and doing job interviews like crazy! We know that God has the right door, just waiting for it to open!

Orchestra & Pancakes with Santa

This was Taylor's first orchestra performance! She got to play her violin at the annual Pancakes with Santa event! They did a wonderful job playing background Christmas music while everyone enjoyed their pancake dinner. The pancakes were thrown by Chris Cakes, it's fun watching the kids (and adults) catch those cakes! We also got to see Ms. Byrnes, which was a special treat!

Tay's 3rd Grade Fall Party

It's Tay's 3rd grade fall party already! It happens to be in February, so we decided to make it a Valentine Party for the kiddos.

PSE always goes way out to keep the kids entertained and learning at their special events. They had so much for the kids to do, even Blake got in some bottle flipping!

Blake's Christmas Band Concert

Blake's in the 7th grade band and really doing well! His trumpet playing comes easy...he barely practices and still sounds great! I love listening to him :)  This event was the first sign of teenage years ahead, he refused to let me take his picture. He knows how much I love to take pics and update my blog on these special events. I guess it's expected but I'm still not ready for it. I'm so proud of this guy, even if he isn't in that many posts or pictures anymore, sniff sniff.

He's a great kid, since we got there really early, he offered to help Mr. McKee with the setup. And the band did awesome!!! I loved the dramatic songs and the Christmas ones thrown in as well! It was an awesome concert! Love that he plays trumpet and still enjoys band.

November Memories

I love these fall months. These are months full of excitement looking forward to the holidays, times of special activities, parties, and planning out gifts.

Taylor had her fall class party! I helped host the party and did the craft. We precut all the little pieces and put together turkey or owl handprint paintings, they were really cute! The party was crazy and went by fast, I feel so blessed to get to be part of it all!

There was a Veteran's Day Ceremony where I got to help out at, the kids honored our beloved family veterans by singing them songs and treating them to cookies and special treats. I love this event! There was the PTO movie night featuring FINDING DORY too!
