Blake's First Grade Field Day

Toward the end of the school year, they get to do a field day and Blake was so excited!  He got to dress in sporty comfy clothes, bring a healthy snack, and a water bottle to keep them going since they would be outside ALL day! 

He said that they got to play a game called Jelly Beans- two kids are jelly beans and the other kids try NOT to "eat" the bad sugary beans.  Sounds like "keep-away" to me, but with kids, not a ball!   LOL!   They also got to play "tug-of-war" - girls against boys and the boys won!!  There were races with water soaked sponges to carry.  Who can fill up the water bucket first?!?!?  Duck, duck, goose was a favorite of his, too! 

Field Day is definitely a day that he looks forward to.  Sounds like a great time!
