On Thanksgiving day, the kids made their list for Santa. I let them choose three toys, we find pictures of them in magazines or on the computer and then we cut and glue them to the list.
Blake listed: Lego set, Star War game, and Star War toys
Taylor listed: Max & Ruby toys, a bunny pillow pet, and a rubber ducky
I love being able to keep presents (and costs) low-key! They are just as happy with second-hand toys, and deals off of eBay! So far, I've been able to keep the costs down...Taylor's only cost $23 with stocking stuffers and Blake's is at $38 total (of course, Aunt Sissy is buying him the Lego set, so that helps!), AND the great thing is...they get what they asked for and more, because buying at a thrift store means you can buy more toys for your money!! LOVE IT!!
This is such a cute idea!
